The Story Behind
Blooprint Imaginative Play™
As a parent, I’ve always wanted to make sure my son Kaden stayed on track both developmentally and academically. But like many families today, we faced barriers—rising costs of quality childcare and long waiting lists meant Kaden couldn’t attend a center for the first three years of his life.
Thankfully, he spent most of his early years with my mother, who had the flexibility in her work schedule to care for him during the day.
Growing up in a time before screens and digital distractions, my mother relied on imagination and the natural world to teach. From counting snails in the garden to reading and following recipes, she introduced Kaden to hands-on experiences that sparked his curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
What amazed me most was how deeply Kaden engaged with these everyday activities. He didn’t just do them—he became fascinated by the people behind them. Whether it was a gardener, a chef, or a firefighter he read about in a book, Kaden wanted to understand how things worked and who made them happen.
That’s when it clicked: why not channel his curiosity into something greater?
With over 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education—as an educator, childcare provider, and parent—I decided to merge my mother’s timeless teaching style with Kaden’s love for learning. And that’s how Blooprint Imaginative Play™ was born.
This program is rooted in a simple yet powerful idea: children learn best through imagination and real-world experiences. Blooprint Imaginative Play™ helps close early education gaps by empowering kids to explore careers, connect with their communities, and dream big—all through purposeful play.
Kaden’s curiosity is still at the heart of everything we do. And now, I’m excited to share this journey with other families who want to help their children discover the world around them—one playful moment at a time.
